Emily had her baby! Congratulations Emily!
I've been paying Qwest $70/month for the past few years for no-frills phone service. No more! We're now on Vonage, and love it. We'll save about $480/year.
We've switched to Dish Network from DirecTV for the nice HD DVR. Their hardware is awesome, and their customer service stinks.
Joe Vera's, a Mexican restaurant in Provo, has the best flan around. However, when they brought Marie the wrong meal after an hour wait, and she didn't want to wait another hour for the correct order, they offered to take a dollar off for her. They thought that this was very generous.
Oblivion is a great game. For the few who ask me lately if I'm playing WoW; no, not anymore. Why didn't you play it back when I was well over a year ago? We might have had fun. Beware, the addiction. The next game on my horizon? Heh.
This comes out in July. I'm surprised to see it selling already.
The new Battlestar Galactica is phenomenal (forgiving the ridiculously common snap-zoom, both in CG and live modes); if you want to really enjoy something, pick up season one on DVD. Meanwhile, Lost is dumb; I had my hopes, but it's X-Files all over again. Whether it's the Others, the hatch, scribblings on doors, mysterious numbers, roaming machines that knock over trees, nebulous somethings that fly around the island, polar bears, horses, doomed babies, pregnant women ... some things will never be tied up, and definitely everything will never be. The writers of this show pretend to know where they're going, but they don't, and if they do, they have way too much going on to actually get there. (Remember Michael? Walt? Hmm.) I'm done. Done!
